Food was absolutely delicious and staff was nothing short of amazing. I was with a group of 5 other ladies sitting at a table outside. It started to rain and our waiter Brenden somehow found us a table inside even though the lobby was full of people. I had the blackened flounder special with asparagus and Parmesan garlic fries and a Moscow mule (also amazing). My husband is excited about his new ST gear. 100% recommend

This is probably the best restaurant we’ve been to in NC, not that that’s saying much, but this is next level, and what more people should aspire to deliver. We had the blackened trout and the meat of the day special, which was NY strip. Both were of excellent quality and cooked to perfection. My steak was well finished in the outside and medium on the inside. I am sad that I need to drive 3+ hours to experience this, and that the special may not be there next time. The beer selection is excellent and more extensive than one would expect for a restaurant with all the can and bottle selections, including all your regular domestics so no one is left out. Great wine selection with wine shop inside. Excellent crafted cocktails. I recommend the spruce and spice, one of a kind high quality craft drink which I had to recreate at home, minus the actual pine garnish. It’s great because I like both my beer and cocktails to taste like a pine tree. MAKE RESERVATIONS!

I love, love , love Speckled Trout! Expect a wait, but be patient, it is worth it. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and informative. You can order a craft cocktail while you wait. I haven’t found one I don’t like, but my favorite so far is the Bloody Mary and margarita. Everything was incredible but the Wagyu burger was over the top, So flavorful and juicy. The food comes out fresh, hot, beautifully plated, and in a timely manner. Save room for dessert! I was blown away by the strawberry red velvet cake.

Anyone passing through Blowing Rock, MUST try this restaurant. You will not be disappointed! One of the best I've eaten at in a long time. 1.5 hours from where I live and it's worth the trip for a lunch date. Short wait time. Clean facilities and great friendly staff. The food presentation is amazing and the quality FANTASTIC
