Tours are by donation, the facility is beautiful and has an Induction Hallway with Seventeen Inductees, some full size photos and a viewing of Buck Owens Knabe Piano. There is also a gift shop in the upper lobby and refreshments for sale.
The Boxcar Festival is put on by The Kern County Museum, we donate all our time for the non profit event. You can check with them to see if their members get discounts for the festival.
