Things are not the same as they were a year ago. We have new carpeting but not completed, have 4 washing machines and 4 dryers. For at least the past month only ONE machine has been available and 1 dryer is down. We are one maintenance person down so he has responsibility for all duties including readying empty apartments. We received notice yesterday that we are being inspected Wednesday & Thursday. Later we received an Urgent notice from our Headqtrs in Florida informing us we have a case of COVID. They are still doing inspections. Seems we could use more communication.
Since Covid, you must call for an appointment. The office hours vary, but are appointment only even for residents. Application, and income eligible, 65 + or handicap, wait list. The lower your income, the faster you get in. Usual wait is 1 + years, recently there has been a big turnover. All apts are 1 bedroom, with electric, heat, water, included. Basic cable at reduced cost. Some apts come with A/C, which must be a 220 unit. So you may inherit 1. Some apts have a nice balcony. I have lived here since 5/2015 and before Covid, there were all kinds of activities to keep busy, hot lunch for $2 M-F, pool table game room, ,library with computers, printers(you furnish paper), wifi is available if you are close enough to the office and tenants are given password. Tenants association, with different activities, a Snow removal program to buy into, so you dont have to clean and move your car(restrictions) love this feature. Worth the money. Community store, fish and turtle pond in lobby.
go & fill out the paperwork & they will tell you & there's a waiting period
You need a one time sign up...very quick and painless....
