Yes they're cleaned it up allot lots of nice spots for a picnic
Not on the water as there is overgrowth covering most of the shoreline. Also, there are alligators in the lake so I'd keep my distance or my attention up within ten feet of the water. As others have said there's gazebos with picnic tables but honestly if you're looking for a nice spot for a picnic on the water I'd drive to Davis Island Beach or the Courtney Campbell causeway.
There are a few new benches on the walking trail. Some are covered with picnic tables.
I'd say probably but I'm not sure. They cleaned it up really good to where now you can actually go down and see the water. They do have an picnic table near the baseball field area but it's only one.. So up you on if you want to or not
