don't remember seeing a hot tub room, they got a small exercise room, give them a call, super friendly staff, I've stayed there at least 5 times, reasonable rates, about $50, good hot breakfast, older hotel but well maintained.

I DON'T know about the bad experiences that are being reported, but I travel from Indiana to Florida. I have stayed in places that were 4 times the price of this and had bugs in the room and hair / lint in the shower. The bed in the room I request is the absolute best bed I have ever slept on. The room is large enough to work and lounge in. Washer and dryer on site to do laundry. And the AC works great. Yes it is a older hotel. But it is a comfortable one. If you want shiny and new then go into town and pay 3 to 5 times more for a lousy bed. I know. I have stayed at about a dozen in Roanoke. I will spend my money here when in town as long as I continue to get the great service I have gotten up to now.
Literally the most sketchy hotel I have ever seen.. place was nasty and falling apart.. the pool doesn't even have water in it, and it was all busted. Ac doesn't work. There were blood stains on the window shades. The welcome books had ads for companies saying they deliver, yet the companies advertised aren't even in business anymore. The breakfast made me sick to my stomach and someone sabotaged my trailer during my stay which became disconnected while I was going down the highway.. this hotel is the definition of a roach hotel! Worst hotel I have ever seen in my life.

Not sure about a hot tub, but that place was terrible! Rooms were nasty, A/C did not work, hikers were taking their shoes and socks off in the lobby! Took a week for my refund to hit my account! Will not use Howard Johnson again!
