Does the lake have overflow? Raining for two weeks where does the water go?

Audrey, the lake is fed by Cooper Creek from the east and drains back into Cooper Creek to the lake's northwest. The water goes downstream to the Braden River and is part of the local water supply (which is why we can't allow gas motors on boats outside of safety boats). We have a couple of retention ponds around the lake, but everything flows in and out along Cooper Creek.

If this lake overflows we got a serious problem 😊

Is this fresh water in Nathan benderson or brackish
