You can't go to a butcher shop or market to buy a raw ham steak! In it's raw form it's a pork steak. If you want a ham steak they are processed and smoked. Then you can take it home And cook it it's also known as ham steak

Maybe a cooked one to microwave. Go to the butcher shop Belcampo in Grand Central Market on Broadway if you want raw meat.
Their ham is real good but it's already cooked. I'm sure you can do a take out. Not sure if they'll sell you just the ham.
Why would you want to take one home if you can buy them at the market
