Yes you have to stand unless you are disabled or VIP. This one time though when roger waters came as no this guy let loose twenty sheets into the crowd I felt I was sitting in s chair while standing I kept pushing back on the recliner button that didn't exist.

Even then, most of the time, the VIP are SRO seats
For the most part yes.... depending on the show there is a small VIP section upstairs that sometimes has seats.....
