What's the difference between covered and uncovered parking. Why is uncovered less expensive?

Uncovered means your car is in the sun the entire time in an open lot which also means that it is susceptible to the elements if it rains or it's foggy or whatever... Covered means that you are parking in the parking structure and the car is sheltered so it's usually a dollar or two more per day...

covered is more expensive because it ptotects ur car from the Sun or the rain.
