There is a great park right next door (shadow cliffs) and trails leading from the bike park to the park.
Dogs are probably ok here if they are on leash. However, it isn't very advisable, I wouldn't bring my dogs. There are often numerous cyclists of varying skill levels moving every which direction, often at high rates of speed and airborne. It would be pretty easy for a bad crash to happen if riders don't see a leash and ride into it, or if the dog gets loose. There is also no hard barrier between the park and Stanley Blvd (55 mph).
