Why do you guys get donations and call yourselves animal protectors? But when someone calls about 2 puppies that are friendly and were dropped off in a park starving.. You guys cant do anything? Just hang up on me and don't answer when i call?

Probably because they do not handle that type of animal abuse?
Their budget is stretched thin and stray dogs are in the jurisdiction of the County Shelter.
