They are very strict on tail gating. And no alcohol is allowed there are rules posted on website . You can bring in unopened water up to a gallon per person and a few food items unopened . I'm diabetic so I had to check with them first and I brought in a large zip lock bag filled with granola bars and dry fruit. I'm not sure how much you can bring in like a whole meal like you want but they do have lots of food options and alcohol inside.
There are picnic style tables and chairs out in the grass area. But you'll probably have to purchase their food and alcohol.
No cannot tailgate in carpark you will be asked to go inside venue and/or ticketed i suggest sneaking in alcohol
I don't believe you can bring in outside food or alcoholic beverages. They have picnic benches and chairs, but you have to buy the food and drinks inside. PRETTY PRICEY!

Hollywood Bowl has changed rules with alcohol. You can drink outside in the picnic area, but you are not allowed to bring it inside anymore. 😣
Makes no sense been too Ford theatre Hollywood you could have a picnic bring your own food & alcohol b,4 the concert....
