Sanbernardino can serve by mail. If you have right address of defendant. From what I understand about Orange county CA Superior Court I had the court clerk for a price mail service to defendant. It was better for me because then I know it was done right... Maybe have issue with court dates but hey you'll figure it out... It was called proof of service. I think I had to have it before 20-24 days before the court date...

Hi, the Legal Aid Society of Orange County does not help with process of services for small claims. You would have to contact the sheriff's department, have a friend or family member, or hire a process server.
