Take everything that came with the product back to costco. They will lookup records for the purchase and give you your money back. It's really easy. Costco returned a 5 year old plasma TV no problem.
Hold onto receipt and original box if possible. There is no time limit as far as I have ever experienced. 4 years on one item is my longest.
