The ones they have for sale are parakeets as opposed to English budgies. They have not been taught to talk. Any person who owns one can teach it to talk but it takes a lot of time and patience.
The parakeets they have will need lots of patience and time to train them to talk. They are very friendly to their owner though and fun to have around.
There are two types of budgie. The larger English budgie, and the American budgie. The ones at the bird farm are the American budgie. Some people refer to them as parakeets, but they are budgie. If you want a budgie that will learn to talk, get a male. The females will sing and chirp, but don't talk. I got my male budgie from the bird farm, and he has quite a vocabulary.
