Yes you can. I carry one 8 with the broken button. They received it and decided to change the team because they had to change the whole screen. They charged me as a repair and I paid 180 dollars

Apple has a guarantee! With your bill they change what was broken.

Take it, a technician will attend to you and they will tell you if it can be repaired or not, how long it takes and how much you get. You probably have to leave a couple of days to fix it. Luck!
