I've seen them swimming in the water, never on the boardwalk.
Snakes and alligators should be expected to be in any body of water in Florida.

Two years ago I saw baby coral snakes at least 8. But have not since then

I never saw a snake there, but a fellow who was walking a few feet ahead of me said he saw one in the tree. I couldn't see it.
