As a visitor, is there a public transit way to get from the Sorrento Valley Coaster station to village at La Jolla, near the La Velencia Hotel? I haven't seen one

Thanks for the info. Disappointing there no direct connection. Another question, do the have luggage storage places at the Santa Fe Train station, just for a day?

Nothing convenient. If you want to take a bus, get off at Old Town station instead, and take bus 30. It will be about 40 minutes. As an alternative, Lyft or Uber will be about $15.
