Hollywood beach is the better choice. For umbrellas and lots of kids playgrounds you can also rent bikes.
Dania is less crowded & quiet. Parking is closer and easier with small children.
Dania beach doesn't have sun umbrellas for rent, and yes I would say it's pretty kid friendly because has a small playground in the same beach and the Pier were to do some fishing
