Yes my dad was there for about six years and we were all very happy. It's like "a cruise ship that never leaves port"
It varies widely depending on the size of the unit and the specific needs of the resident. I highly recommend you visit them in person to see all they have to offer. My father in law was there for over 2 years and he (and we) couldn't have been happier.
