Does anyone know what happened to the previous owners?? Ice cream is still the same, thank God....... but the previous owners were good, honest, hard working people. I hope this dude is telling me the truth, that they retired, and are happy.

New owners are kind and very hard working..

I met the previous owners and founders and they told me that they owned this place for a LONG time (25 or more years), were getting older and working less and less. In addition, the store needed an update in the near future. With this as the backdrop, I wasn't surprised to find out they sold this place. When I read your comment, it left an impression that your servers were the opposite of being good, honest, and hard-working. I have continued to buy ice cream regularly from there and I have found the new staff to be just as nice and as service oriented as the previous owners. Hopefully, you had the same experience.

Hi Krystal, Diane and Monty the original owners were both in their 70’s and wanted to retire. Their grandson Cody who operated the store the last couple of years wanted to move onto something different. I understand your curiosity, lots of people are wondering what happened to them. My family and I are the new owners, and I’d like to think we are also hard working and honest. We hope to see you again soon. James
