Our recycling bins used to be collected every Monday. This was the norm for years. But the bins stayed out for four days last week and have not been emptied yet although it is after seven pm. Could it be that someone thinks we are every other week?

It could be they were just missed who picks them up for you?

It could be a couple different reasons such as a truck breakdown, new driver on route, or driver had to pick up earlier than usual because of extenuation circumstances. However, if this ever happens, please give our Public Works Department a call at 643-3327 as they oversee the contract for recycling and may also be aware of the situation on your street.
