Just had a locksmith come and replace a key. Said they could not program the key because of some device in my car that was keeping the computer from doing so. Any advice as to what this is or why I can’t get a replacement key??

There a certain locksmith you have to see cause I had a car where I had a extra key but that was in Jersey
