Is it pricey for a rebuilt on a 2005 bmw 545i 5 series 4.4l v8. More of replacing everything on both cylinder heads.? Or better off replacing for a used engine?

Eric is correct that it would be best if you call us because it isn't possible to give you an estimate through this medium because there are too many different possible repairs/costs depending on what your actual problem is and what your vehicle's VIN number is. Please contact us on 509-457-1033 from 8:00am to 5:00pm and explain what your problem is in more detail along with providing us the VIN # and we can try to help you. Thanks for your inquiry.

Depending on exactly what needs to be done, you have to factor in the cost of part's and labor. It could cost you up $4,000 if not more. Best bet would be to call Auto Care when they open up and check with them. You also have to figure, a used or remanufactured engine, while not the same price of a new one, will also be costly. It all comes down to how much you are willing to pay. Replacement and rebuilt engines of modern cars are not the same as 30 year ago or older. As all the modern ones have computer control packs and sensors to monitor everything.
