It is very short, less than a 1/2 mile. There is a bit of a hill to walk down if you park on University Ave. There is another place to park down the road a bit near a nice Park area with a short trail that leads to the Redwood Grove I have seen people on bikes, but not on the wooden path.
it's pretty short. the boardwalk connects to a dirt trail. the entire thing is about 1/2 a mile
