I had emergency surgery (broken right femur) on August 7, 2016. My treatment included inserting a metal pin in my femur. Now I need to know the serial number and the kind of metal in the rod for another procedure. How can I get this information?

If you need information from LA County / USC Medical center you have to go to the records department at the hospital. This is a county facility. They don't answer the phone. And if you have to order medical records they will take about 8 weeks before you receive anything.
