I take care of my elderly father and I do everything for him. I clean his house, wash his clothes, I cook for him, I take him to his doctor appointments, pick his medications, etc. How can I become his provider?

Does he have a case with In Home Support Services? If not he needs o start a case you can do that by calling 211 then he can assign you his caregiver. If he does you have to attend the orientation and have him sign a paper assigning you to his case. If he has a case call his case worker for info

Call your local IHSS office and ask for the intake phone number to have a social worker go to his home to be assessed of his needs and qualifications.
