I would say they are absolutely worth every penny. I was extremely nearsighted and had been wearing contact lenses for 25 years. I had my LASIK surgery there January 4th and they were great. I had Dr Tooma and was able to ask him any questions I had before surgery via email and he was very prompt getting back to me. Day of surgery things were very low key and I was able to relax, because they had prepared me for everything, and the procedure really only took 10 minutes, after which I went home and slept through the next 16 hours when my eyes were at their sorest. All of my follow up appointment have been with my regular eye doctor, who partners with NVISION, so I haven't had to drive all the way to Newport Beach for the 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, 3 month and 6 month follow up appointments, all of which are included in the price. And finally, the guarantee that if, in the future, I need a touch up, that has already been paid for, means I feel pretty worry free. And I now see 20/25!
My experience with Dr. Tooma was great. No issues and they were very helpful and accommodating.... Vison is great and NO CONTACTS!
That's truly a quality of life question. Money is a passing issue when compared against not having to worry about solutions, losing a contact, poking your eye just to get a stubborn lens out, annual visits to get a new pair, etc. Dr. Tooma was excellent, and *ALL* of the staff made the difference for my procedure. Should I need cataract surgery in the future, as nothing is ever certain in Life, this Team is who I will ask to do the procedure. I'd go further than other reviews to say this was worth more than the material cost. And yes, I'd do it again with this Team. My primary care didn't have nearly the same level of experience or bedside manner which made the difference. After more than 5 years of waffling and research into options, kicking myself for not doing it years earlier. My current eye doctor recommended Dr Tooma, and I'm glad for it.
