What's your brand? Have you researched any agents? Do you have to be referred by one of their clients? What sort of submissions do they prefer? i.e. email headshot and resume? Do they prefer "snail mail?" If you're in a play, will they come see it? Are you union? Are the agents you're targeting SAG-AFTRA franchised or ATA?

Okay. Jona Xiao on Career Activate has the most savvy method of getting an agent. First, turn it around. Why would an agent want to represent you?. Have three wow answers as to why the agent would be a fool not to represent you. My three reasons were 1) I am starring in a hit play. 2) I am starring in a Netflix animated series. 3) I have 450 million views on line. I then researched the SAG Agents list. Sent a 3 Wow email to six agents. Called them. And got my present agent. Have a plan based on what an agent needs. I hope this helps.

You need to contact sag-aftra and ask about their sag-friendly agents. I'm sure they will give you a list then you have to do the homework/footwork

You need to audition for them until one picks you up.
