I understand what your saying. Let me comment on this which I really hate to say. I was an OSHA instructor before and safety has been a big part of my life. People are jerks about the mask thing. Yes it is still mandatory by the governor's office but stores refuse to enforce it cause they find themselves fighting people over it. Even women managers at Albertsons in Central point has said she isnt fighting with men customers over the mask thing. I think Oregon needs to throw people in jail or financially make them pay for refusing to mask up. I mask because I have to my health and others like me can't afford to get the COVID we have the rights to shop anywhere we want and others should look at it that way too but they are chosing the wrong things to fight over. Have you been at Asante lately? They aren't even cleaning up like they should either. Not just our health is important every single one of us are important. I'm sorry people are selfish about the wrong things.
It's living in fear that ultimately drops your immune system. Main thing mask up wash hands stay healthy by not living in fear.!
The stores don't hire mask police. Some don't wear a mask, they're willing to risk it. If your wearing a mask its to protect yourself. There are alot of germs and bacteria out there not just covid that can be just as harmful to some. At least most businesses offer delivery so you don't have to worry about it.
Don't know if you've noticed that anywhere you go and Medford or Central Point or equal point people are still choosing not to wear masks and they're not enforcing it pretty much anywhere some people wear them some people don't best advice I can give is just continue to wear your mask and wash your hands and be safe the biggest thing is washing your hands not touching your face bar none
Unfortunately, that's common in Jackson County. It's a highly "red" county in a "blue" state, which means people are extremely selfish and have the "me first" attitude. I've lived here in the Valley almost my entire life and it's never been this bad before. I mask 😷 up everywhere I go because I don't trust anybody anymore. Yet, go up to the Willamette Valley and I'd say that 85% are wearing a mask whether they like it or not. Three only other choice you have is to put in your order for groceries at Walmart or another store that has that program. That's what I'm doing now for safety (and also because I refuse to do self-checkout!).
If a mask protects the wearer, what's the problem? If one mask doesn't protect the wearer, put a second one on your own face. Problem solved, now 2 masks are between you and everyone else. 😁 I hope this basic math assists anyone who wants 2 masks between them and everyone else.
If you have problem breathing. Face shields might help
Some people don't wear masks because they can't breathe. I have COPD and a mask 😷 makes it too hard to breathe, but on my good days I do wear a mask. I'd prefer to be able to wear a mask for my safety, but on my bad days I can't. I understand your concern and it upsets me that people haven't even been vaccinated for their own safety much less others. If you're vaccinated then you don't need to fear. Sure you can still catch COVID-19, but it won't be too bad. But eventually everyone will come into contact with COVID-19 one way or another. I'm afraid that we're stuck with it just like the flu. It's been handled wrong from the beginning. Now it's turned into a real big mess. I hope that you have a wonderful life with all the good things to go with it. Lord Bless
Yeah unfortunately the answer is, we live in southern Oregon which is full of a bunch of people who care about nobody else but themselves, saying that nobody can tell them what to do so they're openly defiant. Protest with your pocketbook could go elsewhere.
