is the medford store part of the kroger chain or or is it locally owned?

I wondered the same thing because it shows Kroger all over their website. Hate Kroger being shoved down my throat: I refuse

It is locally owned by the Olsrud family of Medford, who have a long reputation of treating their employees well and supporting local community organizations. They also own Food 4 Less stores in Roseburg and Klamath Falls and Sherm's Thunderbird in Medford. None of these 4 are owned by Kroger, but Fred Meyer is.
