We travel a long distance to shop at this store. Unfortunately the prices are getting too high for us. We noticed they do have 5o % off days. That would be the true bargain days. We Wil continue to donate. Definitely a great cause. We know as we have 2 sons who served our country. Just please let THEM know how we feel about prices and usually people will listen. God Bless
Yes, they have gotten totally way out of hand. I don't go near as much as I use to because of it. They are too greedy.
It is sad they are supposed to be helping out the community by recycling, and they are just getting greedy. Got to watch prices and yes, some is priced more what you would pay retail. Just put your foot down and only buy what you need. Make it know to them that we won't pay the high prices.
I learned that the DAV Red Racks Is Avery good place to go and shop because ,they do u Ave the items like name brand clothing and when you are talking about a pair of jeans that are 150 brand new but DAV is asking 14.98 and that's a deal and if those jeans don't sell in 3 weeks they go down to 25%off then the next week it goes down to 50%off and if they still do not sell they go in the (last chance ) sale where they will be $1 for a week. That is how that place works with all clothing .Nothing is in the store for over 6weeks after six weeks if it doesn t sell it is shipped out to other places like the YWCA store for wemon and children and other charitable places all over the United States . They are a great store .Sundays they have the biggest sales where the tag color whatever color it is for the week goes for 50 cents .That is including furniture if it is the color on sale then it sells for 50cents that goes for end tabes shelves big wall clocks .I love it !!
They are higher priced than many other thrift stores, but they are not above retail, unless you're counting Walmart, who sell cheap Chinese stuff. They're around the same pricing as the thrift store next to the fire station west of St. Joe on highway 6. But you can still find decent pricing on clothing at Red Racks. They have good sale days. Veterans are 25% off. Non-veterans seniors (I forget the age) have 25% of one day a week (I forget which day). They have tag styles. I think they gave an email list to keep you abreast of what's coming down sale-wise (or maybe it's Twitter (again, I forget which LOL). I believe they have a $1 clothes rack or two. You can find bargains if you look for them. There's no sense in being drama queens about it all.
Even when they have 50%, they price-tag everything, and mark the price up. So, even than your almost paying the same amount. Barley saving money.
Yes, they are but you can find bargains if you really dig around! I was able to buy a large suitcase on wheels with handle, a tent, 3 pair of pants, 4 shirts for 44.56! I wouldn't call that bad!
Yes, its pitiful!
