This is a busy time of the morning. All stores are busy 9:45 to 1pm. Also, the customer standing in front of you has more priority than a ringing phone. Also, you can order online and do a store pick up. (That's how I avoid these situations.) The app also tells you what is in stock at the store.
Not enough staff
I too have asked the same question. Ive called 1 hr before closing to see if something was indeed instock before driving 2. Cities away just based on what it said on line. I to never got thru to anyone an called repeatedly. Needless to say i wasted my time and gas just to find it was not in the store.. It seemed to have plenty of staff....maybe just night crew but during business hours phones should be just as important as customers face to face. Customer service is answering calls as well.
Wal-Mart services are severely lacking. They do not understand the concept of multi tasking. The last time I was there the options were limited the inventory is horrible.
Sometimes is not a lot a staff to answer questions you have and is true there selves are sad
Walmart is going down hill quickly. Just go look at their shelves. It's actually sad
