What's the best pet for kids they have? I just recent,y won a baseball game and I want to ask my mom for a pet that she would like as well and it will have to have to be a reptile or amphibian

Ball python or corn snake.. beardies are NOT low maintenance pets and require more heat than the corns and bps.. Or if your into frogs go with the Pac man or pixie frog

Bearded Dragon. Very low maintenance.

An adult bearded dragon. The adults eat a lot of veggies like kale & strawberries. They're VERY tough. And can live for about 10 years.

I'm partial to beardies too (I have one), but I wouldn't exactly call them low maintenance - between buying bugs and veggies regularly, calcium and vitamin powder, and two different types of lights (basking spot plus a UVB bulb that needs replacing regularly), there's a lot to do. Snakes are truly low maintenance. Turtles are somewhere in the middle, and fun to watch...let us know what you get! =o)
