Most breweries are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays..thats when they are focusing on brewing. Go to their website and check hours. Its totally worth it. Delicious beer.
The guys are very busy delivering product to restaurants and bars during the day. Bringing in raw material is a big responsibility. There is also a large time commitment for cleanliness of the facility. Promoting 818 in SoCal takes a big chunk of the day. The staff is small and 818 must keep overhead low to stay open. Be grateful they are open. They are not a Yardhouse, maybe someday.
David thanks for making the effort to support our local business. Many reasons go into being closed Monday-Wednesday and our hours are posted everywhere from our front door to here on Google. Expanded hours will be coming soon and hope more days soon!
Dear David: Most City Permits and licensing don't allow new microbrewery tasting rooms to be opened 7 days a week. You'd think after the first two times you would have called or checked with someone. You can sign up to get updates, or follow them on social media for any changes or for operating hours. And no, I don't work here, I just know how to get into a tasting room when I really want to.
