They have to take care of evil in the Drive-Thru so they aren't backup out on the road
I have taking videos class to work at fast food some say drive thu more important cuz your on the go
We are paying customers too. They are not more important to me. And I'm not important to them. Have management change that
As a person who works there I understand your frustrations. Our store is particularly a slow in general. I know for a fact that I've heard from managers that drive-thru is considered priority and I've been told to focus on that a few times rather than front counter.
They do it based on who is there first so if they were there before you they are gonna get their food first and then you'll get theirs. Also the drive through is supposed to be a faster way to get food when you don't have time so they try and get their food out faster. :)

Its McDonald's, why do people expect 5 star treatment.
Cause you took the time to walk in means your not in a big hurry. The drive thru means "im in a hurry, i have other useless things id rather be doing." So to aleiviate traffic in the lot, those people are usually taken cate of first, just economics, however, that means you get the fresh burger, etc.. because all the prepped stuff is on its way down the road!! And if you don't like what you received, you can get it replaced good luck!
Why dont you download the app, order and turn on the apps notification. When you pull in, the store is notified and you get your food a lot quicker.
The parking lot would get terribly congested... normally is all the time anyway... lol but they try to get everyone out as fast as they can!!! If u have ever worked n a fast food environment before you would understand how crazy the drive-thrus can get!!! It has gotten alot worse since I worked there n high school 17yrs ago...population has grown alot n bedford!!!
