It took me two weeks to get thru on the phone tree, only to be told I needed to go to the web site. However, the very nice lady I spoke to after 25 minutes on hold pointed me to a URL I had not tried. Go to dol.wa.gov and down the rabbit hole to "moving to WA?" and getting a license, and applying for pre-registration. There you will get a pre-registration license number which will allow him to pre-register and get an appointment. Please be advised of two things: my memory is, at best, faulty and you may have to search about a bit, but this should be substantially correct. Second, they only make appointments up to a month in advance, and last time I checked they were booked that far. There may be cancellations (in fact I managed a same-day appointment) so keep checking. Once you have the pre-registration number things can go more quickly.
He has a tx license. When I call they said they are too many people on hold so call back. Cant get through online or phone. Any office accept walk ins ?
You can either call in or you can are a new account for him online I had the same trouble with my son so I cleared my cache and it seem to let me make his appointment.
Does he already have one or is it a new one?
