It depends on your selection. I'm purchasing a Nathan Anthony sofa and it is made in Southern California, all sold woods. This is a very knowledgeable and professional.
Hi Mary! We have over 200 different vendors we offer to our customers. Each vendor varies in terms of quality, durability, availability, and price. Think of us as Nordstroms where you would find many different labels in the store that vary from designer labels to entry level labels. Moreover, because we want to maintain the best relationships with our customers we mostly only carry (and recommend) furniture that will be a worthy investment and make our customers happy for years to come. Most of our furniture is made out of hardwood solids, varying in wood species, however, if a customer would like to have an aesthetically pleasing, on trend product but offered at an entry level price point, some manufacturers will combine hardwood solids and MDF (medium-density fiberboard), which is harder than plywood or particle board. In this case, the manufacturer will use hardwood solids throughout the piece to make it structurally sound and then use MDF in places like drawer fronts.
