If we arrive at 5:45 for dinner reservations are we good to stay and watch some jazz also? I imagine dinner would take us to 7 but want to stay and watch the music...

They stay pretty busy, so you may have to move if someone else has reserved the table.

That's about right, but keep in mind how crowded it may or may not be. Reservations are definitely the way to go.
