The hours listed are for drive-thru, not the lobby.
Could it have been the lobby was locked, but their drive-thru was open? Because that's happened to me at fast food places before. They look closed, but their drive-thru is open for business. If you look on their website it mentions they close close the lobby a couple of hours before their posted close time and do strictly drive-thru service.
