Your agency will be notified and you can most likely get a temporary card till you getbyour permanent one

Depends on what you applied for. You can track applications on the website. Or you can call them. But both options are slow and not very efficient. Calling can get you on hold for hours and tracking online only let me know if the entire application was passed and not just the background check individually.
