Depends on why you are going there? Kids or man/women retreat? Kids it's a no. Couple retreat maybe but you can better spend your money. We stay at lots of resorts and I must say this one is just bland. The spa part is well know I will say though
I don't think I'm negative. I do tend to be safe on my reviews. If rather you go and decide it was better than what i did, as opposed to going and I've over rated it.
I just left a review. Terrible experience from start to finish. If you're looking for a luxury resort that includes great customer service and friendly, competent staff you'll be greatly disappointed. If you're not used to the service provided at luxury resorts, you won't realize how lacking this place is. It's like a budget hotel in service.

Not sure. The area is remarkably beautiful. The golf courses are in good shape. The service has always been good. Their best restaurant, LaTour is one of the best in NJ. But then expectations have always been very high for the resorts in Vernon, going back many years to the Great Gorge Playboy Club. If yo go, I'd say get outside, its beautiful there.
