Can't watch a rated R novie unless your over the age of 21

If you are under 17 u must have a parent buy them and they do not have to watch the movie they just have to walk you in so the employees know you have permission

You have to be 17 or older to watch rated R movies without an adult present

I do believe it's 17 yrs to watch rated R movies

Now a days most movies seem to be R rated just like the games in stores & you don't have to be 21 to buy them so why just for going to a movie?

well they dont usually ask your age. Yet you must look mature enough as you go purchase your ticket and while watching the movie!
