My daughter had her DNA researched & she is 3% Inuit. I am from Great Britain living in US. Have no idea where it came from, but she is very pleased.

The exhibits and programming at the Alaska Native Heritage Center and in the downtown Anchorage Museum would give her insight though would not answer the question you pose. British vessels including a voyage of Captain Cook did reach the area in the 1700s.and through the succeeding years
