The reason they dont pick up and or hang up is because they don't care. If they pick up phone and dispatch a unit before it get worse then it won't benefit them. There job is to make sure crime happens other wise the Detectives don't have a job. It's the detectives that run the show. They are the most corrupt evil ppl. It's not to protect and serve it's to SEEK AND DESTROY.

I was having the same problem (they hang up without even a hello if you call back). For the first in over dozens other previous times I’ve tried to call to report something, they actually picked up and transferred me to make a report. FYI 911 did not pick when my friends life was danger, luckily she out witted her attacker.
