Has anyone had an tick issues while camping? I'm thinking of camping in a tent and just wanted to know the prevalence there?

We stayed at Ridge for 3 weeks during July with 2 dogs. We hiked and walked every day and never had a tick on us or the dogs.

Unfortunately I did pick up a tick while out in Cooks forest and i was in my camper , I think i got mine from foraging for mushrooms so every time i have turkey tail tea im reminded of the tick
