Love this place for camping. Bathrooms really need updating though.

Sites were really close together. Did not like *non pet areas*. Seemed pretty exclusionary? The only internet/cell is by the dump station so I guess each visitor must Guage their priorities... Nice Ridge hiking around campground

Hot showers, wooded and flat sites, close to the river (1 mile), camp hosts on site, no check in/out process...just reserve and go! Firewood for sale on site.

This was a great campground. The spots were relatively close to one another but not packed in like sardines. I really liked that we were surrounded by trees (which is my favorite way to camp). The bathrooms left a lot to be desired, but it could've been worse. We had a nice hookup for electric but no water. There were two dumping stations which was nice, so we didn't have to wait when we left. It was very quiet at night which was surprising even though all sites were occupied and a lot of them were families with children and dogs. There are a lot of trails, cool things to explore, and interesting history close by to learn about in regards to how Cook Forest came to be. This would be an awesome place to take the family to get out of the house and the 300+ yr old trees are definitely a sight to see!

I believe til the end of October. The # for 1-800-PAParks...
Full hookup is $41 per night.
The Clarion river is down hill about 4 miles away. Nice lazy river when we were there earlier this month.
The restroom/ showers are open. There are campsites designated for pets but pets are not permitted in the shower houses.
I go camping there twice a year and I have AT&T. I hardly ever get service at the campground and usually have to wait until I get to Macbeths or back on the road outside the forest.
Probably $20-25 per night.
We stayed at Ridge for 3 weeks during July with 2 dogs. We hiked and walked every day and never had a tick on us or the dogs.
I believe they close the campground 17th of Oct. But you should be able to call and ask
$23.25 for primitive, $30.25 for electric and full hookup of $48.00
