Contact them directly. They have a hot meal at 5p on Fridays and you can usually pick up bread, and other things then but the focus is the meal and the readings. Many food banks in the area ask for a picture ID but I've never seen anyone turned away if they don't have one. If you don't have a picture ID, some places can point you to where you can get a voucher for a California driver's license/ID card. Orange County Social Services or 211 might be able to help. RefugeLink.com is a good resource to find food, meals, free laundry, etc. near you.
I dont think you need to bring anything. What were you concerned about? Some type of verification?
