It was a fair deal right off the bat, and only took me a few minutes to get my cash. First time selling coins, and I had a "no nonsense" experience. The proprietor is a friendly gentleman named Jon, and he made the whole thing easy. I had a number in my head going in, and it was exactly what he offered me. Jon is clearly a seasoned professional that runs a fair and honest business.

John at American Coin Exchange is the man! A rare individual these days - very honest, forthright, fair and kind. I could tell he really cared about me getting the most out of my coins. Great experience. I went in to sell some old coins I had and John was very friendly and helpful. He was able to help me identify the coins and did not make me feel rushed at all. He stayed over an hour past closing to take the time to make sure I was happy with the sale. I was very happy with the price I sold my coins for. Foreign coins
You have to check and see how much gold is going for. The price changes all the time. Google it and once you have found it, show it to the person who will buy it from you.
It is very difficult to give an appraisal over the phone, or online. This is due to many factors including authenticity and the coins current condition. My best advice would be to swing by the store! The staff here is super friendly, and it only takes 5 minutes.
Would have to see the coin
I have a few hundred of them. Worth a penny. No letter on it is common
