Best to look up your owner's manual as service shops will most likely recommend oil changes much more frequently than the vehicle owner's manual published by the vehicle's manufacturer. Most modern day vehicles with synthetic oil have oil change intervals of 7,500 or 10,000 miles with synthetic oil. Older cars require more frequent changes.
